It extracts accurate measurements of one’s waist, hips, chest, and arms and features a health risk predictor and caloric consumption tracker. A revolution in body scanning, this data is personalized and can provide an outline to properly plan to implement sustainable, healthier habits. But it goes one step further … Styku helps keep you accountable and on track for your goals.
Advanced 3D biometric modeling
The Styku is a body composition measurement and visualization tool that generates a 3-dimensional avatar of a person’s body using a series of Kinect-like sensors and a rotating medical grade scale. In less than 35 seconds, the Styku produces an interactive 3D rendering for accurate data reading, including body shape, body measurements, and more.

Is the sensor harmful or invasive?
The Kinect sensor used in the Styku scanner emits harmless infrared light, similar to that used in remote controls, cordless PC mice, baby video monitors, or the Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone. It is completely non-invasive and safe to use. The infrared light from the sensor does not affect human tissue, and will not affect people with pacemakers, people who are pregnant, or those with other medical conditions.
Preparing for your scan
For optimal results, please wear form-fitting clothing. For women, this could be a sports bra and leggings, and bike shorts for men. Wrinkles and folds of a loose shirt or baggy shorts can mask your body shape. You will have a private room to perform your scan. If you have long hair, we recommend tying it up above your neck and shoulders.
